  2. This week has been an exciting and eventful one. The students here at BGMS have been working hard in and out of school on their academics and also at their athletic events. Some of the exciting in school lessons discussed in Mrs. Grote's CAT time were: "We had a fun lab in Expo Science. We learned that a newer penny holds more water than an old one." state Nicole B. This was in reference to the height of the ridge on the newer penny. Also, in History the students have been discussing Missouri executive branches. Kelsey F. wanted to share about about the 7 Habits inspired tiles inspired by the 7 Habits. The theme for their tile was Mickey Mouse and the Habit was "Be Proactive: Taking responsibility for your life." Our teams have been traveling and playing hard. Football, softball and volleyball are all showing wonderful school spirit and pride at the games. Way to go BOBCATS!

Next art contest: CelebratingArt.com deadline for art entries is Nov. 20. See Mrs. Grote for entry form.
Athletic events... Crosscountry is having their first meet on Monday, Sept. 10 at 4:15 and the BGMS Football team will be at North Callaway at 5:30pm. GOOD LUCK BOBCATS!
